Business Administration Apprentice Vacancy

Warehousing Apprentice Vacancy 

We are looking for Business Administration Apprentice to join our energetic Customer Service & Finance team based in Templecombe, Somerset. Your role will be to provide an efficient and effective administration support to the team.

It is most likely that there will be a full time position evolving in Customer Service / Finance for the suitable candidate. It is essential that the applicants have a positive and creative attitude to work and can fit into a small hard working team.

What will I do?

You will provide effective communication and support, setting high standards to help achieve excellence within your role and across the Company.

The role will require an ability to prioritise a varied workload and solve problems. It is essential that you also have a good telephone manner and can communicate professionally at all times.

The apprentice role will include but is not limited to the following duties:

•          Dealing with day-to-day queries

•          Call handling

•          Supporting the finance team to raise invoices and orders

•          Inputting information into a database

•          General administrative support for the department manager and team

Skills Required

•          Excellent communication skills

•          Competent at using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook

•          Work as part of a team and independently

•          Ability to take instruction and carry out tasks efficiently and to a high standard

•          Good time keeping

Join a fast growing, friendly business as a Warehouse & Despatch Apprentice. You will be involved in all aspects of the warehouse: goods-in, picking and packing orders, despatch, stock control. You will have the opportunity to develop and progress.


The role is a varied role, primarily based in the warehouse and distribution functions. Daily tasks and responsibilities will include:

•          Stock handling

•          Goods in

•          Picking and packing

•          Quality checks

•          Warehouse maintenance

•          Despatch

Using your IT skills you will make sure that all transactions are entered correctly into the stock management system ensuring all actions are carried out effectively and efficiently.

The job will also have an element of office work, and we would train a successful applicant on our current stock / order management systems.

You will also receive additional training as required and identified during your apprentice and for your onward development.

You will be given the opportunity to progress within the company.
